We are a leading agro company in Africa, adding value to staple crops and cash crops with a prominent foot print in cassava processing. Thereby transforming agriculture, adding value to farmers and empowering communities.
Our company was established in August 2009 with the aim of processing high-value products to make a significant impact in the market. Through the mechanization of farms, we seek to enhance productivity and create wealth for farmers by boosting our farm yields, along with those of our outgrowers, to 30 tons per hectare by 2030 and 40 tons per hectare by 2040.
Over the years, we have steadily expanded our operating capacity, and we are on track to reach an annual maximum capacity of 10,000 metric tons (MT) of High-Quality Cassava Flour (HQCF), in line with our core vision.
ABAAS is committed to developing its block farm model to encompass 3,000 hectares and expanding its active block farmer base from 300 in 2020 to 1,500 by 2027. Additionally, the community farmer base is expected to grow from 870 in 2020 to 2,070 by 2027.
By offering access to additional farmland and services such as training, inputs, improved stems, and mechanization, ABAAS can increase annual production for block farmers by 25%. This approach not only boosts productivity but also significantly enhances the livelihoods of farmers by providing them with the tools and knowledge they need to succeed.
